Sip Café Terrace

Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio collaborated with the Friends of Post Office Square to create a new outdoor terrace for Sip Café.

The terrace, designed with wood decking over structure, provides an accessible and welcoming outdoor space for all. A series of planters, metal edging designed to complement the landscape, and a glass guard rail with hidden lighting provide the necessary separation from the surrounding park, while the moveable tables and chairs and new plantings create a welcoming atmosphere that allows Sip Café to expand their services with more capacity and flexibility to host events.

Sip Café’s terrace is already becoming the new outdoor destination as well as go-to beer and wine garden for the sophisticated after-hours Financial District crowd.
