Students: New Dover High School is "breathtaking"

The new Dover High School welcomed students for their first day of classes.

This new 302,000-square-foot building, designed by HMFH Architects with landscape architecture by Halvorson Design, was described by students and faculty on opening day as “breathtaking,” “amazing,” a “top-notch facility,” and an “upgrade in every way.”

Tuscan Village to have outdoor entertainment viewable from upper floor restaurants

Tuscan Village, a new mixed-use development designed by Prellwitz Chillinski Associates and Halvorson Design Partnership, will now feature a courtyard for outdoor concerts, festivals, and other forms of entertainment as well as restaurants along the perimeter, which will allow people to eat, drink and watch the shows.

Redgate/Kane, the city’s development partners for the McIntyre Federal Building property in Portsmouth shared some of their concepts for the site. Preliminary plans include creating three public plazas, an indoor/outdoor market, office space for the existing McIntyre Federal Building and two new residential buildings with office/commercial on the first floor.

Planning the Largest Mixed-Use Development in the Region

Located on the site of the former Rockingham Park racing track along Route 28 in Salem, NH, Tuscan Village is set to become the largest mixed-use development of its kind in the region. The master plan for this themed 170-acre lifestyle center—developed by architects Prellwitz Chilinski Associates with landscape visioning by Halvorson Design for Tuscan Brands and Grossman Development—will feature a luxury hotel, restaurants, entertainment venues, retail, and residences, as well as corporate and medical offices.
