Iris Yung-Ching Lin RLA LEED AP


Iris Lin’s design perspective is shaped by her background in landscape architecture, her interest in the fine arts, and her engineering training. Her expertise lies in thoughtful and creative problem-solving combined with aesthetic expression applied throughout the design. Iris has made contributions to projects ranging from park planning and design to cemetery improvements, hospitality and mixed-use developments, institutional campuses, and urban spaces. Some of her notable projects include the Dover High School in Dover, NH; renovations at St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH, and the Carver Elementary School in Carver, MA. Currently, she is serving as project manager for the Whittier Choice Development in Roxbury.

Over the past few years, Iris has applied her design expertise to plan and implement improvements for cemeteries, including the Asa Gray Garden and Bigelow Chapel expansion at Mount Auburn Cemetery, St. Paul’s Parish Cemetery in Hingham, MA, and West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, PA. She recently spoke at the 2019 New England Cemetery Association Conference on “Landscape Planning for Cemeteries: Longevity through Beauty, Harmony & Innovation.”

Iris is a registered landscape architect in Massachusetts and Maryland as well as a member of the Wellesley Design Review Board. Her interest in sustainability led her to become certified LEED AP, and she has worked on several LEED certified projects.
